Albert Mofrad has spent his career on hydraulics — how pressure moves through a system, where it fails, and what separates equipment that holds up for twenty years from equipment that quietly becomes a hazard.
He earned his B.S.M.E. from the University of Tehran in 2001 and spent the following decade in the automotive lift trade, working on the machines themselves rather than selling them. Over those years he kept running into the same thing. A shop could always find someone to sell them a lift. Finding someone to service it properly, on time, by a person who understood the engineering, was another matter entirely. Lifts were being installed by crews who had never opened a hydraulic cylinder. Inspections were being treated as paperwork. Shops were losing bays for days waiting on callbacks.
He founded Elite Auto Lift in 2023 to run it differently: engineers building the standards, direct access to the team, and equipment held to the standard the manufacturer built it for — not the standard the schedule allows.
The company is registered in SAM.gov for federal contracting. It serves commercial shops and dealerships, municipal and government fleet facilities, military maintenance operations, and private garages throughout Southern California. Jobs range from a single home lift to multi-bay commercial equipment programs, and the standard doesn't move with the size of the work.
For Albert, this is about what a lift actually is: a machine that holds several thousand pounds of steel over a person's head. That's the whole job.
